Slavic Mythology

Myth Lore Book is a book series that explains various mythologies. Each book focuses on a part of a location to keep it organized and informed of what fairy tales other cultures tell. The point of the series is to inform of what tales people tell or use to tell. Or what legends some countries hold dear. It’s a fun outlook of something out of the usual learning.   The goal of the project is to inform about how other cultures have their own mythology. It can be interesting to see how some tales are similar but with some alterations. Or one mythological monster being presented differently in two different cultures. The book series is a fun learning for a reader who’s intrigued by monsters, fairy tales, or having a snippet of a culture’s viewpoint.

Theaudience for these books would primarily attract people heavily interested in mythology, especially of European tales. There is a low market of books that focus on this specific genre, and people who are interested in this region of myths would be all for this book. The age ranges from 15- to 30- year-olds.

The pages will be illustrated in a stylized look with the colors being primarily dark purples and bash. Keep the theme consistent throughout each book. The covers will represent what theme the book focuses on. For example, one will be inspired by Mexico Aesthetic and the other be inspired by Slovak Aesthetic. It helps give a first impression of what readers will expect. Inside the book, one page of the illustrated mythology and the next pages be written text about said mythos. It’s easier for the readers to have the text and imagery separate to cause less confusion. The goal of the project is to inform about how other cultures have their own mythology.
